Con-Tech is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Shop/Yard Worker to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily construction operations by maintaining the yard, organizing materials and equipment, assisting with loading/unloading, and ensuring the shop and work areas remain clean and operational.

Responsibilities
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop and yard
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with inventory control and material tracking
- Prepare tools, equipment, and supplies for crews and projects
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections
- Operate forklifts,telehandler, skid steers, or other yard equipment
- Assist mechanics and field crews as required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies
- Complete general labour duties and seasonal yard maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous construction, yard, or labour experience considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license required. 1A an asset
- Forklift or equipment experience considered an asset
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety

Pay: $18.00-$32.00 per hour
