The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery and pickup of mini bins, transportation of waste materials, customer interaction, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and remove mini bins at residential, commercial, and construction sites.
- Operate hook-lift truck safely and efficiently.
- Secure loads and ensure bins are transported in accordance with transportation regulations.
- Inspect bins for damage and report maintenance requirements.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding bin placement and pickup schedules.
- Collect, transport, and dispose of waste materials at approved disposal facilities.
- Follow company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of trucks, bins, and work areas.
- Assist with general yard duties, bin repairs, and equipment maintenance as required.
- Complete work orders, disposal tickets, and delivery documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class G driver's license.
- Clean driver's abstract and satisfactory driving record.
- Previous experience operating trucks, commercial vehicles preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Frequent climbing in and out of vehicles.
- Standing, walking, bending, and performing physical labour throughout the day.
- Ability to safely secure loads and handle equipment.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required.
