Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth workflow in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Duties

Operate forklifts and handle long material (35' in length), to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.

Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Perform heavy lifting and build pallets for shipping or storage as required.

Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.

Familiarity with various types of forklifts

Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and distribution processes.

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines strictly.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

A valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
