Job Duties
- Perform mobile maintenance services, with the primary focus on refrigeration units such as Carrier and/or Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers
- Evacuate/recharge systems with refrigerant and performing routine checks
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns on refrigeration equipment
- Assist in the installation and replacement of various transportation equipment components
- Read schematics
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
- Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
- Ensure service truck is always in working order
- Ensure service truck is clean and represents Frigid Rentals Inc well.
- Maintain and manage service truck inventory
- Ensure outputs meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools
- Mark, record, and report defective products
- Complete work orders with all information requested at all times
- Record and report damages to equipment noticed during inspections, repairs, or yard checks
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor or management
- Possible evening and weekend shifts
Job Requirements
- Valid ODP certification
- Reefer experience, with preference given to mobile reefer experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid "G" Drivers License and ability to provide a clean drivers abstract.
- Must be available to work all shifts
Work Conditions
- Exposure to hazards associated with the industry/trade
- Use of required personal protective equipment
- Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment
- Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions
- Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50 kilograms
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 44 per week
