Are you a current/ ex junior, college, or pro hockey player who is driven, tenacious and wishes they could still have a career in hockey?
Perfect Skating, founded by Shawn Allard (former Skating and Skills Coach of the Colorado Avalanche and personal performance coach to many of the NHL's top players), is seeking an ambitious, ex or current hockey player to help continue building our brand and programs in Calgary.
The Perfect Skating methodology has been used by 350+ NHL players, and thousands of minor hockey athletes. After starting in Ontario, we have been in the Alberta market for approximately 4 years. In that time we have been very well received in the community, and continue to see explosive growth. Prior to this, our focus was expanding our Northern Alberta programming, with our focus now shifting to Calgary's program expansion. Because of this, we are looking to add great people to our team.
A successful candidate will be developed into a world leading expert in coaching players in the art of skating, skill and hockey performance development. They will help continue building the Perfect Skating brand in the Calgary and area locations.
Qualifications:
-Former Professional Player or College/ Junior player
-Experience coaching and passionate about constantly developing to get better at their craft
- Bonus but not necessary: Kinesiology, or Personal Training education
Hours: Part time (with growth potential for full time if desired)
Summer 2026- Evening shifts available, Mon-Thurs
Fall/ Winter/ Spring: Hours vary based on session times but early morning and afternoon/ evening hours are available. Potential full time, salaried opportunities may be available.
Summer 2027: Part time hours still continue to be an option, with multiple full- time positions anticipated to be available.
Pay Type: Hourly (Part Time)
