Position: Physed Teacher (Elementary)

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education and Healthy Living. We are looking for a teacher who believes that physical literacy, wellness, teamwork, and confidence-building are essential parts of a child’s development. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a student-centered approach to designing engaging and inclusive learning experiences for all learners.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the broader school community through athletics, clubs, outdoor activities, and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a positive, inclusive, and active learning environment
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and healthy risk-taking
- Demonstrate strong student management and relationship-building skills
- Develop programs that educate the whole child
- Value collaboration and contribute positively to the school culture
- Write report cards in collaboration with the Assistant Head of Curriculum, Head of School
- Plan and execute a community events such as Track & Field day for the school
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and a valid teaching certification
- Experience teaching in a private or independent school is an asset
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
- Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners
- Enthusiasm for building community and supporting school events
