General Labourer
Nova Staffing is currently hiring General Labourers for our reputable client in the Halifax Regional Municipality. This is an excellent opportunity for hardworking, dependable individuals who enjoy physical work and being part of a team-oriented environment.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00/8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (approximately)
Responsibilities
- Carry and move building materials such as drywall, lumber, and other construction supplies
- Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles
- Transport materials up and down staircases and into residential and commercial job sites
- Assist with material handling at various locations, including Fall River
- Travel to different work sites throughout the Halifax Metro area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform other general labour duties as required
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials throughout the shift
- Physically capable of performing demanding labour tasks
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple job sites
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous construction or general labour experience is considered an asset
