Job Title: Cabinet Maker/CNC Operator
Job Overview -
Atelier Millworks is seeking a professional and experienced Cabinet Maker / CNC Operator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the production of custom cabinetry and millwork projects while ensuring a high standard of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Strong working knowledge of Mozaik software is required for this role, as the position involves preparing and optimizing CNC production files for manufacturing. This position is ideal for an individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment.
Job Description –
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications for custom cabinet and millwork production
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand and power tools
- Create, prepare, and optimize CNC production files using Mozaik software
- Operate CNC machinery to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality production
- Work with a variety of materials including solid wood, plywood, MDF, and laminates
- Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance on cabinetry and millwork as required
- Install and assemble cabinet hardware including hinges, slides, pulls, and connectors
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following workplace safety procedures
Skills and Qualification –
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the woodworking, cabinetmaking, or millwork industry
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using Mozaik software
- Experience operating CNC machinery in a production environment
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered a strong asset
- Solid understanding of cabinet fabrication, assembly, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of joinery methods and cabinet construction systems, including dowels and lock dados
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
