Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting overall wellness. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing advanced electronic health record systems, and delivering personalized treatment plans to meet diverse patient needs.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, including medical history review and physical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across all age groups, including pediatrics
- Manage pain and implement effective pain management strategies
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments following established protocols
- Perform patient care procedures such as medication administration and home care planning
- Collect and analyze patient data to inform diagnosis and treatment options
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Oscar or Avaros for documentation and data management
- Coordinate with specialists for referrals or specialized care when necessary
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in research initiatives to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital settings with a strong background in acute care and patient care management
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and medical office procedures
- Experience with electronic health records systems including Epic and Cerner platforms
- Familiarity with research methodologies and data collection techniques to support evidence-based practice
- Ability to handle diverse clinical scenarios involving pediatrics, pain management, and home care services
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and treatment planning
- CPSO Registration
- 1-2 Years Experience Practicing As A Physician
- Fee-For-Service Pay Model
- Full-Time Employment 40 Hours Per Week
