Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of various items, especially in technology sales
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cashiering duties including POS transactions, cash handling, and processing payments accurately
- Maintain merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays and organized shelves
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Uphold phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or online channels
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base
- Previous experience in retail sales, especially in technology or product demos, is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, upselling strategies, and product knowledge is a plus
Pay: $17.20-$27.60 per hour
