Vehicle Acquisition Consultant

Lange & Fetter Motors is looking for a motivated Vehicle Acquisition Consultant to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing quality pre-owned vehicles from private sellers through online marketplaces such as Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, and other digital platforms. If you're self-motivated, enjoy building relationships, and have an eye for spotting great inventory, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Search online marketplaces daily for quality used vehicle opportunities.
- Contact private sellers to gather vehicle details, ownership history, and pricing information.
- Evaluate vehicle condition, market value, and resale potential.
- Negotiate purchase prices to maximize dealership profitability.
- Schedule and complete vehicle inspections, appraisals, and test drives.
- Verify ownership documentation, vehicle history reports, and lien status.
- Coordinate vehicle transportation to the dealership when required.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, purchases, and acquisition activity.
- Monitor local market trends and identify high-demand inventory.
- Build lasting relationships with private sellers and referral sources.
- Work closely with our sales and inventory teams to help maintain a strong selection of pre-owned vehicles.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive sales, purchasing, or dealership experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, and other online vehicle marketplaces.
- Knowledge of used vehicle values and current market trends.
- Ability to assess vehicle condition and identify potential issues.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $41,600.00-$200,000.00 per year
