Pelican Intl est à la recherche d’un Analyste d’affaires. Dans le cadre du poste, l’Analyste d'affaires naviguera entre l'analyse d'affaires, la formation donnée aux utilisateurs, passer de la présentation à la direction de plan de projets ainsi que la configuration des systèmes. Ces mandats seront sous la supervision de la Directrice Finance et Technologie de l'information.
UNE JOURNÉE TYPE EN TANT QU’ANALYSTE D’AFFAIRE :
- Fournir une expertise en analyse d'affaire et de soutien selon les projets assignés ;
- Communiquer de façon proactive et collaborer avec les intervenants internes et externes pour identifier les besoins ;
- Recueillir les exigences au moyen d'entrevues, d'analyse de documents, de processus opérationnels et de flux de travail ;
- Interpréter les besoins des clients internes et les traduire en demandes et exigences opérationnelles ;
- Fournir les documents de spécification, les diagrammes de flux d'opération ou d'information, les cas d'utilisation ou autres documents requis afin que les programmeurs analystes comprennent clairement les produits livrables ;
- Rédaction des spécifications de conception informatique et détermination des critères d'essai (tests) qui assureront que les spécifications sont respectées ;
- Participer, au besoin, à la rencontre de priorisation avec le comité TI.

CE QU’ON ATTEND DE TOI :
- Tu détiens sept à dix ans d’expérience pertinente avec un ERP (Sage X3, QAD EB 2.1 et Infor Visual, un atout) ;
- Baccalauréat en technologie de l’information ou intelligence d’affaire ou équivalent (diplôme dans un domaine connexe combiné à une expérience pertinente) ;
- Doit avoir déjà participé à l'implantation d'un nouvel ERP (un atout) ;
- Expérience reconnue en analyse et gestion de projets ;
- Très bonne compréhension des concepts ERP liés à la production, la logistique, l'approvisionnement et la gestion des stocks ;
- Expérience dans un environnement manufacturier ;
- Connaissances d’un BI (un atout) et maîtrise de la suite MS Office (dont Visio) ;
- Bilingue (français et anglais) à l'oral et à l'écrit.
Vous possédez de bonnes habiletés de résolution de problèmes, ainsi qu’un bon sens de l’organisation, de la planification et de la coordination dans un contexte multitâche. Vous détenez d’excellentes habiletés à gérer les priorités et à travailler sous pression. Vous avez de bonnes compétences organisationnelles, êtes proactif, autonome, analytique et soucieux du détail. Enfin, vous avez des aptitudes à travailler en équipe, en collaboration avec les autres et à animer des ateliers ou sessions de travail.

Pelican Intl is looking for a Business Analyst. In this role, the Business Analyst will move seamlessly between business analysis, user training, executive presentations, project leadership, and system configuration. These responsibilities will be carried out under the supervision of the Director of Finance and Information Technology.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS ANALYST:
- Provide business analysis expertise and support for assigned projects;
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify business needs;
- Gather requirements through interviews, document analysis, business process reviews, and workflow analysis;
- Interpret internal client needs and translate them into business requirements and operational requests;
- Prepare functional specifications, process flow diagrams, information flow diagrams, use cases, and other required documentation to ensure analyst programmers clearly understand expected deliverables;
- Draft system design specifications and define testing criteria to ensure requirements are met;
- Participate, as needed, in prioritization meetings with the IT Committee.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Seven to ten years of relevant experience working with ERP systems (ERP Sage X3, QAD EB 2.1, and Infor Visual are an asset);
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Intelligence, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (a degree in a related field combined with extensive relevant experience in a similar role);
- Previous participation in the implementation of a new ERP system (an asset);
- Proven experience in business analysis and project management;
- Strong understanding of ERP concepts related to manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and inventory management;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools is considered an asset, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio;
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
- Proactive, with the ability to gather relevant information to identify risks and constraints;
- Ability to produce documentation, including reports, organizational charts, and process flow diagrams.
You possess strong problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational, planning, and coordination abilities in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. You demonstrate outstanding priority management skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. You are organized, proactive, self-motivated, analytical, and detail oriented. Finally, you are a strong team player with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to facilitate workshops and working sessions.
