We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing residential and commercial property portfolio. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for property operations, maintenance coordination, resident relations, vendor management, compliance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations across the residential and commercial portfolio.
- Execute lease administration, renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and rent increases.
- Conduct regular property visits and maintain strong relationships with residents, staff, and contractors.
- Coordinate bi-annual inspections of all residential units and ensure follow-up on deficiencies.
- Oversee maintenance programs, repairs, and vendor performance.
- Support budgeting, expense control, and operational reporting.
- Ensure compliance with residential tenancy legislation and company policies.
- Assist with capital projects, renovations, and property improvements.
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential property management or operations experience.
- Strong understanding of residential tenancy legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly between properties.
- Knowledge of Yardi Breeze Premier.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
Assets
- Commercial property management experience.
- Experience with capital projects and building maintenance.
- Experience with Microsoft 365.
