We are seeking a Resort Spa Manager to open and manage the first of what we hope to be many resort spas across our various hotel locations.
This role is hands-on and operational in nature. The Spa Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the spa, support the guest experience, and contribute directly to service delivery. You will play a key role in shaping the culture, standards, and success of a new spa brand in beautiful resort settings.
Our goal is to deliver high-quality services and outstanding guest experiences in a relaxing, resort environment.
Copper Point Resort is the premier upscale destination in Invermere, BC, offering the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation for every season. The property offers a mix of guest rooms and suites with full kitchens, along with both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, Elements Restaurant and Lounge, and meeting rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the hotel’s General Manager, the Resort Spa Manager will be responsible for the following:
Spa Operations & Service Oversight
- Oversee and support the delivery of spa services to ensure consistency, quality, and guest satisfaction
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with company standards, safety guidelines, and applicable regulations
- Conduct guest consultations and ensure appropriate documentation and consent processes are followed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming spa environment
- Support safety procedures, sanitation standards, and emergency protocols
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Manage daily spa operations, scheduling, and workflow efficiency
- Recruit, train, coach, and support spa staff and service providers
- Ensure staff certifications, training requirements, and professional standards are maintained
- Conduct performance reviews and support ongoing development
- Foster a positive, guest-focused team culture
Compliance & Quality Standards
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, privacy, and licensing requirements
- Develop and maintain spa policies, procedures, and standard operating practices
- Address incidents, guest concerns, and corrective actions as needed
- Support inspections, audits, and internal quality reviews
Guest Experience & Business Support
- Deliver a high standard of guest care and personalized service
- Professionally handle guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery
- Support retail sales, service packages, memberships, and promotions
- Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships
- Assist with budgeting, expense control, and revenue optimization
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of work experience in a spa, wellness, or aesthetics facility
- Experience in a medical spa facility
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of spa services, guest experience standards, and operational best practices
- Experience working in resort, hotel, or luxury service environments is an asset
- Strong computer skills, including POS systems and Microsoft Office
