South Calgary Boutique Firm - Build Your Own Practice With Real Autonomy
Are you a seasoned litigator who’s ready for more independence, more ownership, and a workplace that trusts your judgment? Do you want the freedom to run your files your way—without bureaucracy, micromanagement, or office politics?
We’re a boutique law firm in South Calgary, and we’re looking for a skilled, self‑directed Litigation Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful responsibility, a supportive environment, and the flexibility to shape their own practice.

- Appear in Provincial Court and Court of King’s Bench
- Handle a mix of contested and uncontested matters
- Communicate directly with clients and guide them through the litigation process
- Collaborate with our team when needed—but operate independently day‑to‑day
- Optionally expand your practice into Family Law, Wills & Estates, Real Estate, Employment, Business, or Corporate Law (your choice)
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of Alberta litigation experience, including meaningful courtroom work
- Strong legal analysis, drafting, and advocacy skills
- Ability to run files independently from start to finish
- A proactive, organized, and solutions‑focused mindset
- Excellent communication and client‑management skills
- A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit—no drama, no ego

- Generous compensation
- Real autonomy to manage your files and grow your practice
- A supportive team that respects your time and your expertise
- Healthy work‑life balance—no pressure to “live at the office”
- Free underground parking
- Business‑casual dress code (except court days, of course)
