Mushin Pilates is seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our boutique local studio.
Looking for local clientele and more semi-private classes were you can give one-on-one attention? Our 6 Reformer Studio is the perfect fit for you! Our location is an all-in-one fitness location full of passionate clientele and an uplifting environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a evolving environment that promotes continued learning. Our studio focused more on the athletic performance side of reformer pilates, teaching the basics then taking them beyond while offering both signature flow class as well as HIIT and Jump Board classes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Pilates, excellent communication skills, will show kindness to all clients no matter where they are on their fitness journey and the ability to motivate clients of all skill levels. This role offers an opportunity to inspire clients on their fitness journey while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
Duties
- Lead engaging and effective Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels.
- Demonstrate proper techniques, and comfortable teach progressive programming
- Willing to teach both group classes and private/semi-private clients
- Be a part of our community, help and take part in promotional events
- Opportunity to help with studio social media marketing
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
- Promote a positive atmosphere that encourages client retention and satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching Reformer Pilates (2+ years)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong teaching ability with a focus on proper technique, injury adjustments & ability to alter exercises
- Exceptional customer service skills to create an inviting environment for clients
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple classes and client schedules
- Leadership & ability to take initiative with qualities to motivate clients and support studio advancement
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
