Job Description
General Contractor looking for someone long term to grow with the company that is passionate about all facets of residential and commercial renovations, takes pride in their work and is willing to learn new skills.
Type of Work:
- Demolition, concrete, framing, insulation, drywall, trim, painting, cabinets, tiling, flooring, siding, soffit & fascia, doors & windows, decks, fences, landscaping, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Execute renovation projects from start to finish, individually or as part of a team
- Perform hands on duties as required from set-up, demolition, framing, insulation, drywall, custom carpentry and overall finishing
- Communicate daily progress
- Ensure compliance with building codes and OHSA safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, professional working environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a renovation environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Ontario Building Code and construction related trades
- College or technical training is an asset; Red Seal Carpenter, Building Construction, or Building and Renovation programs
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate an asset
- Ability to effectively communicate with other trades/vendors, clients, and co-workers
- Ensure worksite is clean and compliant as per safety rules, regulations and company policies
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization, planning and prioritization
- Have your own transportation

Schedule & Location:
- Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Early mornings, late nights, holidays, weekends when required
- Job sites up to 100km radius from Barrie, ON
- Residential, Commercial and Institutional job sites
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- renovation: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
- G-Class Driver's License (required)
