With exciting fleet expansions ahead, 360 Marine Ltd. is currently seeking qualified Watchkeeping Mates (OOW) to join our growing team. These are full-time positions offering a balanced rotational schedule aboard our vessels operating within Atlantic Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Watchkeeping Mate, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe navigational watch and assisting the captain with the day-to-day operation of the vessel. Duties include monitoring navigational and vessel systems, supporting safe navigation and operations, assisting with crew supervision, completing required documentation and reports, participating in deck operations as required, and ensuring the vessel always remains clean and well-presented.
Qualifications:
- Valid Transport Canada Watchkeeping Mate (OOW) certification.
- MED and Marine First Aid certification.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to be a hands-on, working leader during operations.
- Experience in the aquaculture Industry will be considered an asset but is not required; training can be provided.
