Job Title: Junior Project Coordinator – Entry Level

Company: WEGU CanadaPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Junior Project Coordinator to support our engineering and program management teams. In this entry-level role, you will work under the guidance of experienced managers to learn the ropes of project coordination. You will assist with administrative and tracking tasks for manufacturing programs supporting major clients like Ford, Tesla, Rivian, and sectors in military and mining equipment.This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to launch a career in project management, manufacturing, or automotive engineering within a structured, supportive environment.Key Responsibilities
- Assist with updating project timelines, tracking logs, and task documentation.
- Facilitate daily communication flow between engineering, suppliers, and production teams.
- Log and monitor RFQs, tooling timelines, and program milestones.
- Organize project files, including drawings, CAD files, and reports.
- Assist with project meetings by, preparing rooms, and taking detailed minutes.
- Follow up on action items with team members to help keep projects on schedule.
- Gather data for status reports, presentation decks, and program updates.
- Learn and support automotive compliance documentation processes (PPAP, APQP)
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years (New graduates are highly encouraged to apply).
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for team collaboration.
- Organization: Strong time management skills with a high attention to detail.
- Mindset: Eagerness to learn technical manufacturing and automotive engineering processes.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Software: Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel or basic project tracking tools.
- Industry: Exposure to or coursework covering automotive standards (PPAP, APQP).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
