Whitby Toyota is seeking an experienced Automotive Licensed Technician who is highly motivated with strong technical and diagnostic skills. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and results-driven individuals with a passion for delivering quality workmanship. Some main responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with Toyota standards.
- Accurately document all findings and completed work on repair orders.
- Use Toyota Techstream/GTS+ diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
- Road test vehicles to confirm concerns and verify quality of repairs.
- Stay current with Toyota training, bulletins, and technical updates.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Shop Foreman regarding repair progress and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards.
- Mentor and support apprentices when required.
Requirements:
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License in Ontario.
- Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience (Toyota/Lexus experience considered an asset).
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- Computer literacy with the ability to use diagnostic and repair software.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to continuous learning through Toyota University training.
