Job Details
The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Recreation and Parks department as a Exercise and Wellness Specialist. Reporting to the Floor Services Coordinator, this position will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and program/fitness service delivery to guests of the Fitness and Wellness Centre.
Qualifications

High school diploma and three years of experience is a minimum.

A degree or diploma in Physical Education, Kinesiology or a related field is preferred.

Direct experience in customer service or fitness facility environment is an asset.

CSEP-CPT, NSCA-CSCS or equivalent certifications are preferred.

AFLCA or equivalent group exercise certification would be an asset.

Current First Aid/CPR certification is required, prior to hire.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience with a membership management database is an asset.
Hours of Work

Monday – Friday - 5:15 a.m. – 9:45 p.m.

Saturday, Sunday and Holidays - 6:15 a.m. – 9:45 p.m.

5 - 20 hours per week, depending on availability
Compensation
$22.08 - $26.88 per hour.
