Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Painter/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of painting, finishing, and general labour tasks on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience or interest in construction-related activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills across multiple trades and contribute to high-quality building projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and safety
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various construction activities
- Assist with heavy equipment operation when necessary
- Follow safety protocols including caulking, schematics interpretation, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics preferred
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
