Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment, ensuring spaces are safe, hygienic, and presentable for clients and staff alike. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, lobbies, and other designated areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to meet cleanliness standards
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals safely
