Rideout Tool & Machine is a distributor of power and hand tools, industrial consumables, compressed air products, wood and metalworking machinery, test and measurement products, fasteners and more. Serving Atlantic Canada industry such as oil and gas, mining, education, fabrication, manufacturing as well the home user since 1949.
We are seeking a permanent full-time Inside Sales Representative for our St. John’s, NL location to develop and maintain our customer relationships and increase our customer base by providing exceptional customer service.
Duties include:
All aspects of customer service and sales including:
- answering sales inquiries by phone or e-mail,
- providing quotations to customers,
- maintaining exceptional customer relationships,
- reviewing tender sites for sales opportunities,
- completing tender submissions,
- sourcing products,
- providing industrial solutions to customer inquiries,
- liaising with vendors regarding product pricing and availability,
- entering sales orders,
- processing and picking orders,
- processing sale transactions,
- providing sales support to counter and outside sales,
- answering telephone sales inquiries,
- serving walk-in customers as required,
- other duties as required.
Superior customer service skills are essential.
Industrial sales knowledge and experience is required.
Successful candidate must also have background or understanding of retail sales operations and procedures and strong computer skills. Must also be efficient, organized, a strong multi-tasker and excel in a fast-paced working environment.
Position is permanent and full-time.
Business Hours are Monday to Friday 8-5.
