Job Description: LumberJack in Leduc, AB is looking for a reliable, hard-working, and experienced Full-Time Food Service Supervisor to join our team on-site.
Job Details:
- Salary: $36.00 hourly / 70 hours per bi-weekly
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
- Start Date: Starts as soon as possible
- Vacancies: 1 vacancy
- Work Location Setting: On-site (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.)
Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Establish work schedules
- Plan and prepare work schedules
- Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience
- Credentials: Food Safety Certificate / Safe Food Handling certificate required
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence and own reliable transportation
- Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Attention to detail
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Team player, Initiative
- Other: Own tools/equipment, Uniform required
