CastleUp Experience Centre is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused E-Commerce & Retail Operations Assistant to support our online furniture, mattress, appliance, and home décor business, as well as daily showroom operations.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, comfortable working with customers, and able to handle both online order support and in-store administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by phone, email, live chat, and in-store
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, delivery updates, product questions, and service requests
- Help process online and showroom orders accurately
- Coordinate with suppliers, delivery teams, and warehouse partners for product availability and shipping updates
- Update product information, pricing, images, and inventory on the website when needed
- Support daily front desk and showroom administrative tasks
- Help maintain product displays and showroom presentation
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with returns, exchanges, warranty requests, and after-sales follow-up
- Support basic e-commerce tasks such as checking website listings, product descriptions, and customer order details
- Help the team with marketing, promotions, and customer follow-up campaigns when needed
- Support daily retail store tasks to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, retail, e-commerce, or administrative experience is preferred
- Furniture, mattress, appliance, or home décor retail experience is an asset, but not required
- Strong communication skills in English
- Comfortable using computers, email, websites, and basic office software
- Detail-oriented and able to follow up on tasks until completed
- Friendly, patient, and professional with customers
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced retail and online business environment
- Experience with Shopify or online retail platforms is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Schedule
We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. Weekend availability is preferred, as the showroom may be open during weekends or by appointment.
