Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various concrete-related tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and a strong understanding of concrete work, including formwork, finishing, and related skills. Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure smooth and durable surfaces
- Install rebar and other reinforcement materials according to project specifications
- power tools safely and efficiently during construction activities
- Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and caulking tools for detailed work
- Assist with demolition or removal of old structures as part of renovation projects
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Skills
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques
- Strong carpentry skills for framing and formwork setup
- Familiarity with masonry, welding, flooring installation, and caulking processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance in construction settings
- Adaptability to different renovation projects requiring diverse skill sets
