We currently have an opening for a Welder/Fitter. In this role you will be responsible for creating carbon steel weldments according to company standards, blueprints and verbal instruction. Working with material ranging from 16ga up to 1/2" thick you will create weldments used in material handling and packaging systems for the food and beverage industry.

Job Requirements:
Experience with Mig Welding (3 yrs min)
Experience Fitting (3 yrs min)
Able to create welds free of voids, pitts or inclusions
Prior experience with fitting components and ensuring function, form and squareness of final product
Experience Blending and polishing
Experience with metal cutting equipment including Oxy-acetylene Torch, Horizontal and Vertical Band Saws, Grinding and Cutting Wheels (1 yr min)
Own Angle Grinder, Welding Hood, Welding Coat and basic hand tools
Ability to lift and carry objects up to 65 lbs
Previous Forklift experience
Reliable means of transportation
Overtime as required
Ability/Willingness to help in Assembly & Shipping/Receiving as required
