Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Line Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food service, meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety. The successful candidate will support daily kitchen operations, assist in food preparation, and ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests. Experience in restaurant settings and familiarity with the food industry are highly valued.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure safety compliance
- Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and plating
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure timely service by coordinating with front-of-house staff during busy periods
- Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times
- Support serving staff with basic tasks when required to enhance overall guest experience
- Regular kitchen activities (Cleaning, dishwashing etc)
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of the food industry and meal preparation processes is advantageous

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
