Musicworks Canada is a music-centered academy focused on providing quality lessons and a welcoming environment for students, parents, and instructors. We are looking for friendly and reliable Front Staff to support the daily operations of our school.
Position Summary
The Front Staff is the first point of contact for students and families. This role involves customer service, administrative duties, and helping ensure the school runs smoothly each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Welcome students, parents, and visitors
- Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Assist with scheduling, registrations, and general program information
- Support students and parents with routine questions
Administrative Tasks
- Follow daily opening and closing procedures
- Maintain school cleanliness and readiness using established checklists
- Manage attendance records
- Complete daily reports as required
Sales & Payment Processing
- Process payments using the point-of-sale system
- Issue invoices and update customer accounts
- Assist with sales of books and accessories when needed
Qualifications:
Required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Comfortable using computers and basic software
- Professional, friendly, and dependable
Preferred
- Experience in customer service, reception, administration, or retail
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Background or interest in music or education
