About the Role
We are a local and emerging landscaping company looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Landscape Gardener to join our team in Guelph. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working outdoors, has a passion for plants and gardens, and enjoys creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Planting, maintaining, and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and gardens
- Performing general landscape maintenance (weeding, mulching, pruning, edging, hedge and shrub trimming, etc.)
- Assisting with seasonal clean-ups
- Garden installations
- Operating basic landscaping tools and equipment safely
- Working with the team to deliver high-quality results for residential and small commercial clients
Requirements
- Some knowledge of plants, gardening, and landscaping principles (formal training or experience is an asset but not required)
- Full valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must live in or near Guelph, ON
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player
- Previous landscaping or gardening experience is preferred
