Our clinic is currently looking for two full-time Dispensary Assistants/Opticians to join our team. We are open to training the right candidate, and a license is not required for this position.
This is a great opportunity for someone with optical or healthcare experience who enjoys patient interaction, frame styling, and educating patients on prescriptions and eye health in a supportive, team-focused environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with our on-site Doctor and support patients throughout their optical experience. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, personable, and confident discussing prescriptions, lenses, and overall eye health.
Schedule
- Full-time hours
- Monday - Thursday 9:00 – 5:30
- Friday’s 9:00 – 5:00
Compensation
$21-27/hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame and lens selections
- Educate patients on prescriptions and lens options
- Support dispensary operations and patient flow
- Take optical measurements and assist with fittings
- Utilize clinic technology including Opti-Kam
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care
Maintain a clean and organized dispensary

Qualifications
- Optical, optician, dispensary, or healthcare experience considered an asset
- Understanding of prescriptions and eye health preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn and grow within the optical industry
