Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter or Journeyman Refrigeration technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on expertise in plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining complex systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing, gas fitting, and refrigeration systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to assemble and install systems
- Perform maintenance tasks on HVAC units, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical equipment
- Conduct system inspections to identify issues and troubleshoot problems efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely during installation or repairs
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for documentation purposes
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter or Journeyman Refrigeration certification/license
- Proven experience in plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, or related construction trades
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
- Knowledge of schematics and ability to read technical diagrams effectively
- Experience with various construction work is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments

Pay: $38.00-$55.00 per hour
