We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support chefs and cooks in cooking tasks as needed, ensuring that all food is prepared to high standards.
- Follow food safety guidelines for handling and storing food products.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary.
- Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to ensure a sanitary kitchen environment.
- Provide excellent support to the front-of-house staff during service periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while following instructions from chefs and supervisors.
