The property manager will be responsible for a portfolio of properties and maintaining effective communication with both tenant and landlord. We are seeking an extremely well organized Residential Property Manager who possesses strong administrative skills, exceptional customer service abilities, an understanding of property management systems, and knowledge of the legislation pertaining to the NS Residential Tenancy Act . This is an office based position with some site visits as required.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of properties
-Prompt response and effective and courteous phone/email etiquette in communicating with tenants and landlords, addressing their needs and concerns
- Efficient handling of administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records using property management software.
-Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues by liaising with maintenance staff and trades persons.
- Conduct property visits to ensure properties are well-maintainedRequirements
-Property management experience
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and property management tasks.-Sound computer skills including MS office
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and service providers.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously-Strong follow up[ skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner.-Calm, even-tempered demeanor, capable of handling high-pressure situations.-Self-motivated, curious, and results-driven.-Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
