Territory Manager – Eastern Ontario @ Original Gravity Beverage + Hospitality Group
This role works independently to sell and educate customers on our brands throughout Eastern Ontario while strategically managing multiple channels (LCBO, On-Premise, The Beer Store, Grocery, etc.) to ensure assigned sales targets are met. Original Gravity is a leading producer in the Ontario Craft Beer industry, and you can be a part of our next phase in growth, development, and advancement.
What YOU will be doing:
● Develop and maintain relationships with on-premise and off-premise accounts
● Develop annual strategic account plans, progress reports and track industry/competitive information
● Maintain an appropriate and balanced call pattern of accounts
● Create daily and weekly schedules for visiting regions throughout the
● Strive to increase distribution of all brands across all retail sales channels and on-premise channels
● Network with all key customer stakeholders to identify incremental business opportunities and to gain in-depth knowledge of the business operations
● Solicit new business through cold calling potential new business in person, over the phone or through email
● Manage and control a promotional budget at both account and territory level
● Collaborate with Marketing and our Inside Sales Team to ensure cooperative and positive business development and growth
● Identify, create and manage, value-added initiatives and programs across accounts
● Maintain up to date knowledge of beer offering and industry trends, news and opportunities
What YOU bring to the table:
● 1-3 years’ experience in Territory Management or B2B sales within alcohol beverage or consumer packaged goods
● A valid G class driver’s license with a clean driving abstract is required
● Smart Serve Certified required
● Prud’homme, Cicerone or WSET Certification with working knowledge of draft systems is an asset
● Proven ability to act with integrity and use moral judgement
● Experience planning and organizing sales presentations, meetings and marketing strategies
● Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google Suite applications
● Proven ability to build rapport and effectively manage customer relationships
● Previous experience utilizing Dig this Data or other CRM software
● Exceptional multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities at a time
Working Conditions:
● Work outside normal working hours may be required
● Regular travel within Eastern Ontario
● Extended periods of sitting and working on a computer
● Extended periods of driving
● Ability to lift 30-50lbs
