Unit 39 is looking for motivated and compassionate LPNs to join our team in a casual capacity. Unit 39 is an eight bed Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Unit specializing in crisis stabilization for youth facing acute mental health challenges. Here, you will work within an interdisciplinary team in a fast paced, highly acute clinical environment, supporting children and adolescents through critical short-term stabilization and therapeutic engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for child and adolescent mental health and demonstrate sound clinical judgment, a calm and flexible therapeutic approach to support youth in crisis. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and Recovery Alberta policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of Recovery Alberta.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
