Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, deck and fence framing, siding, and carpentry. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality results. Candidates should be committed to safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship in all aspects of their work.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Construct and install concrete forms, perform concrete finishing tasks, and assist with contruction projects as needed
- Install siding and perform carpentry tasks utilizing hand tools and power tools with precision
- Work with wood and other materials for framing, decks, fences, pergolas and woodworking projects
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to support various phases of construction projects
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality standards are met
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project implementation
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques
- Skilled in siding installation and general carpentry work using hand tools and power tools
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly
- Experience working with woodworking materials for framing or custom projects
- Familiarity with the use of schematics for complex assembly or repair tasks
- Prior construction experience is highly preferred for this role
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
