Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience with various patient populations, and proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care across diverse settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, pediatrics, and home care. Duties
- Assess patient health status through physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following medical orders
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care as necessary
- Document all patient interactions and care activities using electronic health records such as Epic and Cerner
- Provide patient education on health conditions, medication use, and self-care strategies
- Assist with laboratory procedures including phlebotomy when required
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Manage cases involving pediatrics, senior care, dementia, or home health as needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards in all clinical activities
Experience
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with acute care expertise preferred
- Background in pain management, case management, or specialized areas such as pediatrics or senior care is advantageous
- Experience in nursing home or assisted living environments highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and laboratory procedures (including phlebotomy)
- Prior use of electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical office procedures and patient care practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including children and seniors
