Our client, a well-established full-service law firm in Edmonton, is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join its growing Estate Solutions team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 3-7 years of post-call experience who is interested in estate planning, estate administration, dispute resolution, and estate litigation. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of sophisticated matters while collaborating with an experienced and supportive legal team.
Advise clients on estate planning, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and personal directives
Assist with estate administration and probate matters
Handle estate-related disputes and litigation files
Develop creative solutions for complex estate issues
Manage files independently while collaborating with colleagues and clients
Build and maintain strong client relationships
JD or LLB and active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta
3-7 years of post-call legal experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage files effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
