- These roles are straight day shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday) with availability of overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Handle up to 23kg (50 lbs)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Clean and maintain work space
Requirements/Education:
- MIG (GMAW) – gas metal arc welding
- No welding certification required
- Need transportation; Public Transportation is not available
Own Tools/Equipment:
- Steel-toed safety boots
- Welding helmet
