JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES:
* Perform all base administrative/operations duties
- Answer phone calls in a timely manner
- Maintain flight schedule updates
- File required documents for flight operations
- Where necessary, assist in the compilation of data for various reports
- Flight scheduling
- Organize bookings with clients
- Respond to all emails and phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Performs clerical tasks, such as arranging letters, memoranda, invoices and other documents according to an established system
- Ensure cleanliness and presentability of the office area
- Directly support the Base Manager
- Maintain full transparency and effective communication in all actions relating to the base
- Complete any administration duties as assigned
- Ensure all decisions made for the base are approved by the base manager
- Any other duties as required by the Nanaimo Base Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in administrative work (required)
-Knowledge of aviation operations or flight dispatch is an asset
-Experience in scheduling booking
