The position involves providing professional haircuts, styling, and grooming services, while maintaining high standards of sanitation and client satisfaction. Experience in retail sales and effective communication skills are valued to enhance the overall client experience and promote additional services or products.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of barbering, haircutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and comfortable environment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, tools, and equipment
- Engage clients through effective communication to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or products
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices in hair styling
Experience
- Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques for men and women
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards in a salon setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge in skin and hair care, and able to suggest solutions for clients
- Prior front desk or administrative experience is a plus

Pay: $17.85-$41.85 per hour
