Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental and medical office procedures, and proficiency in electronic health records systems. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting the overall operations of the dental office.
Language Requirement: Due to the needs of our patient population, candidates must be fluent in both Russian and English and be comfortable providing exceptional patient care and communication in both languages.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Tracker dental software
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries and direct calls appropriately
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing transactions efficiently
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of medical information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth daily operations and patient flow
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, professional, and welcoming
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist.
- Proficiency with dental software Tracker
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Office experience with administrative tasks, scheduling, and billing processes which includes full knowledge of reviewing Dental Claimresponses and managment of copayment or full payment
- Familiarity with front desk procedures in all areas of a dental practice
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Note: This position is intended for candidates with dental experience. Applicants without dental experience may still be considered; however, if selected for further review, compensation and the hiring process will be adjusted to reflect the additional training required.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
