Arlyn Transportation Inc. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Flatbed Dispatcher to coordinate and manage flatbed transportation operations across Canada and the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispatching drivers, booking loads, negotiating freight rates, monitoring shipments, and ensuring excellent customer service while maximizing fleet utilization and profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in the trucking industry or dispatch role.
- Must have 1+ year of flatbed dispatch experience.
- Experience with transportation and logistics software: Load Link, DAT Board, XPERT IT, and Border Connect.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure.
- Proficiency in Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
- Strong command of MS Office suite with a quick learning ability for new platforms/systems.
- Understanding of transportation laws and regulations in Canada and the USA.
- Experience in heavy haul operations is advantageous.
