This job is a 6 month contract with a potential opportunity for extension.
The main set of responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Bookkeeping and preparation of GST returns and remittances;
- Preparation of account reconciliations;
- Assisting with preparation of tax returns;
- Assisting with preparation of tax slips;
- Assistance with working paper files.
- Data entry;
- Other general administration and accounting duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Post secondary accounting program completed;
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience;
- Strong knowledge of Quickbooks, QBO, Sage 50;
- Intermediate level of MS Office, specifically Excel and Word;
- Detail oriented with a high level for accuracy;
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with team, at all levels of the organization.
Work Remotely
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
