We are seeking a Farm Production Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Between Morinville and St. Albert in Sturgeon County, AB
(55232 Rge Rd 261, Sturgeon County, AB T8R 0V6)
Pay: Starting wage at $18/hour. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a higher starting wage with opportunities for advancement to $20–$22 per hour.
Hours: 6–12 hours per week (1–2 days per week)
We are a small organic grain farm looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to assist with packaging and preparing products for sale.
Responsibilities:
- Package flour, grains, and other farm products
- Label and organize packaged products
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Assist with inventory and general farm production tasks as needed
- Lift and move bags and boxes of farm products
Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently with attention to detail
- Comfortable performing light to moderate physical work
- Able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) occasionally
- Previous farm, food handling, warehouse, or packaging experience is an asset but not required
- Reliable transportation required due to rural location
