Experienced Demolition Worker – Subcontractor

Pay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, capability, and reliability

ABOUT US
We are a professional demolition contractor specializing in residential, commercial, retail, institutional, and industrial demolition projects throughout Ottawa and the surrounding area.
We are looking for experienced demolition workers who can work safely, efficiently, and independently on a variety of demolition projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interior demolition and strip-outs
- Selective demolition
- Removal of drywall, ceilings, flooring, framing, fixtures, and finishes
- Loading debris into bins, trailers, and trucks
- Site cleanup and material handling
- Operating demolition tools and equipment safely
- Following site safety requirements and project scope
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of demolition experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Physically capable of demanding manual labour
PREFERRED
- Commercial demolition experience
- Retail, institutional, or industrial demolition experience
- WHMIS certification
- Working at Heights certification
- Skid steer or equipment experience
- Experience leading small crews
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
SUBCONTRACTOR POSITION
This position is offered on a project-based subcontractor basis.
- Work is offered as projects become available
- No guaranteed hours
- Workers are free to accept or decline project opportunities
- Payment is made in the form of e-transfers against hours worked and invoiced
