Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our service team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with modern diagnostic tools, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship in line with Volvo standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Volvo vehicles and other makes as required
- Conduct routine services including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure all work is performed efficiently and accurately the first time
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair status and recommendations
- Stay up to date with Volvo training and technical bulletins
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License (required)
- Proven experience working in an automotive service environment (dealership experience preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools and systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Assets (Not Required):
- Volvo certification or experience working with European vehicles
- Experience with hybrid/electric vehicle systems
- Alignment and advanced drivability diagnostics experience
