Duties
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including passenger vans, buses, or commercial trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport children, seniors, or clients to designated locations such as schools, care facilities, or appointments
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical knowledge of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate effectively with passengers, team members, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly
- Keep detailed records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or seniors is preferred
- Commercial driving experience is highly desirable
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a significant advantage for serving diverse communities
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Mechanical knowledge helpful for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
- Teaching or training experience can be beneficial for guiding new team members or assisting passengers with special needs
- Excellent writing skills for maintaining accurate logs and reports
